THE LEATHER BENCH
Better for being handled.
Good leather records the day. Good brass records the hand. Neither asks to remain new.
House note
We prefer visible grain, repairable construction, and hardware that will mellow rather than flake. Small marks are not defects in the life of these materials; they are the beginning of ownership.

Care without fuss
Wipe leather clean after weather. Use a neutral conditioner only when the surface asks for it. Leave brass alone unless a brighter finish is wanted; the darker edge and softened face are part of the material doing its work.
